  • Employees of Corporate Clients: Individuals whose payroll or tax data is processed through a corporate client’s subscription to eTax services.
  • eTax Platform Visitors: Individuals who access our website or support resources without being registered users.

Regulation

This Policy is designed to ensure full compliance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 ('PDPL') and its Executive Regulations issued in November 2025. Data Collection We collect the minimum data necessary ('data minimization') to provide our services. Identity, contact, authentication and e-invoice data are all kept in compliance with Egyptian laws.

Disclosure and Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share your data only with Government and Regulatory Authorities. As a licensed e-invoice service provider and tax technology operator, we are legally required to share certain data with Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) and Egyptian regulatory bodies as required under Egyptian laws.

Data Retention

eTax will retain your data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your data to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies. eTax will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Services and store certain information.
